Happy Birthday to my lovely Aries ~~~

This is going to be a super long heavy- picture  birthday post. 

Well, to be exact, it is NOT my birthday at all but are birthdays to my two lovely boys ! Both are Aries with their own charm and charisma. My darling husband turned 35 this yr and my cili padi turning 6 ! There wasn't any major celebration this year as I was just way toooo lazy to prepare :).  As such, we opted for a family dinner to make the best out of their special day !

First up - Hubby's birthday. We went back to The Sire - which we last had way back in 2009 when hubby celebrated his 30th birthday. A walk down memory lane :). OK, the place was still the same 5 years back - not much of a change except that they had closed the museum for public viewing. With that closed, the place looks even smaller now. Sigh, to our dismay, the menu options had also been reduced and the choices were quite limited :(

Hmm, with that said - we only had mushroom soup, pasta and lamb shank for that evening :).

Food was served pretty fast and we were done within half an hr's time. Took a family photo before we proceed for coffee and dessert.

We proceed to Kaffa which was about a 5 mins drive from The Sire. Well, you see small cute & quaint little cafes has been growing like nobody's business in Penang over the last few yrs. In fact, with the growing of  this cafe culture, you can now find a lot of different cafes with it's own classic, interesting ambience and unique features right here in Georgetown city. Aw, I am sooo proud to be a Penangite !!

 

Called it a night at 12am as we bumped into my cousin & you know la, since so long never meet, we 'yadda yadda ' till Matt starts complaining :):):). Well, it was very late too :):)..#guiltyparent :)

Next up, my small little Aries's birthday. Matt hit the 6 year old mark a month ago & for this year, we decided to go for a small gathering with loved ones. Had pork ribs at Morgansfield & got a cake from Humble Beginnings for the little boy. He has indeed grown & is more talkative and demanding now. His dream came true when he got his Angry Bird Star Wars Telepods from his grandma. * So-MUCH- WIN !!

That summarizes the birthday of my two favorite boys ! Loving both of you as always & it has been great having both of you as part of my life. Truckloads of love !!!

.....and to Matt - yes, mummy owes you a minecraft cake. Hmm, I am not too sure if any cakeshops is doing it but if they don't have it, looks like I got to make it....
