Here are the little events of the week !
28th of Jan
We had our school reunion dinner @ Bagan and about 19 of us attended. Some of them -I have met daily and some not. It was a good time to catch up with Kelly as I have not seen her for yrs. She stayed over at our place and we chit chatted to the wee hrs of the morning. We are touching 30 now and some of us are even parents to one or two kids. Sigh...age is indeed catching up ! all of us had fun & laughter that night. However, the most eventful thing that happened that nite was I paid RM200 for 3 glasses of wine and my heart ache badly. Can't sleep. Sob sob, that was the most expensive wine I have ever taken and I shall now be very careful on what I order. Anyway, it was an eventful gathering and hope to see more of this coming..In btw, the day ended with us having porridge for supper at Macalister Road till about 3am in the morning....he ! he !

The 2nd gang reunion was the 'Penang Kia' gang. My colleagues :). We would actually have our yearly 'yee sang' toast with steamboat, however due to 'busy Me', we settled for Prontip as suggested by Jo Jo. Had too much Chinese food, so went for Thai food instead. We chit chat, laugh a bit here and there and of course, the chit chat winner goes to Jo Jo. Can't stop talking. Anyways, the food was quite spicy but that would not stop us from 'sapuing' all ! Ha ! Ha ! All 11 of us went - also a good chance to catch up with Ian - after he left Dell last yr. We 'bersurai' at about 9pm when auntie was about to close shop..hehehe . Pic as below- Andrea busy taking photos as such can't be seen here... Pic courtesy of Andrea's

Eating away

In btw, my own team had a gathering on 17th of Jan - it was more of team dinner for the last quarter. The joker for that nite goes to Itsenin and as always Teh the latecomer. Everyone enjoyed themselves at Traders and it was a nite full of laughter and happiness. Our spouses went as well....

The last reunion was with the Bayan Bulls Gang. We had 2 tables comprising of both adults and kids. BB Matt did not go cos I want to eat in peace..hehehhe..moreover he was too small to join too. Some of them came back all the way from KL and we had a lucky draw that nite. Grand prize amounted to RM 200. - Boon Hee and Carol got it...how lucky ! Had a chance to toss Yee Sang - they say the higher the better ! After dinner, we took a group photo and adjourned to Old Town wherre Liz treated us with her story with her encounters with ghost. It was pretty eerie too ! This was then followed by 'puak kuai' at Mun's place. Not really keen in gambling, we girls took the opportunity to continue our chat..
Bayan Bulls Gang

All in all, it was a pretty slow moving reunion for all of us cos age is catching up. In yrs to come, there will even be more tables as kids will start to pop out. Slowly, it would be more of an 'Ah Pek and Ah Ma' gathering in time to come.
Again, let us hope that we will continue to have more reunions such as this and looking forward to another yr of happiness and wealth - which is important with the recent economic downturn.
HAPPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR !!
