Happy Birthday Hubby - Welcoming your BIG 30 ~

Happy 30th Birthday my dear....It has been a decade since you left college and now, you have hit the big mark ! Your 30th Birthday. Say goodbye to your late 20s on the 28th of Mac (which had passed -no time to post that time) and welcome ~ Number Thirty ~ Your BIG THREE ZERO.

Celebrated with both family and Alex's best buddy, Alf...They have known each other for yrs...countless. It was a simple lunch buffett at Kampachi and Alf treated him. Managed to get some shots for that day too.

Next would be celebration with the family. we have decided to make it a small celebration as it was on a Friday, 27th of Mac. The place we celebrated was at The Sire - some nostalgic place that suits a 30 yr old. The owner of the place happens to be the same owner as Feringghi Garden. A very classic place with it's own style & exterior with an elegant touch. The Sire is the house of the late Yeap Chor Ee ; in fact, the owner had actually restored the place to become a restaurant cum museum that houses Yeap Chor Ee's household collection. Had a tour and very nice indeed.

The whole Yeoh family went plus their respective partners. Multiple photo shots taken with the family. Food ~ well, I had my fav pasta while hubby had lamb. The food was good but overall we enjoyed the music and ambience setting. Hubby did not want any cake as his colleague had celebrated for him, so no cake cutting that nite.

This is a special yr for hubby as well - with the addition of BB Matt. A son celebrating his dad's 30th birthday - a joyous occasion for my own nuclear family. No doubt, BB Matt does not know anything yet except to cry, I am sure he can feel the warmth and closeness with his dad. We did not go anywhere after that cos Matt tag along...so we went home straight.

I guess that for hubby, eventhough it wasn't that 'happening' compared to his birthday celebration a decade ago (hahaha..I was invited to his 21st birthday, that time not gf/bf yet), I am sure he knows that being at the 30 year old mark means the beginning of a new era for him. An era of adulthood with multiple roles

~ as a father to a cheeky 1 yr old kid
~ a hubby to a lovable/wonderful/caring (aheM) wife- that's ME,
~a son to wonderful parents
~ in laws to the 'ganas' Chin family...
~ an uncle to his nephew and nieces
~ a brother to his siblings

With this, I wish him a properous yr ahead with good health with great promotions. may all his wishes come true and most importantly, to love me more and more each DAY....hahahah
