Here goes another post dated entry.
Lately, I had been busy with so many things @ work and home. To add on, BB Matt had been coming back home daily (as he had started pre-school)which means more time for my dear boy. Of course, not forgetting household chores such as washing, ironing and etc that has to be done daily. You know ~ once the BB is back, EVERYTHING has to be SUPER CLEAN ! 24 hrs in a day has never been enough for me! Sob sob :(
Anyways, back to my post. Christmas 2009 and the New Year went by in a daze. In fact, this yr - our gang did NOTHING.. YES - You heard me LOUD & CLEAR ... Hahaha...we no longer celebrate it at nearby pubs, bistros and clubs, instead we did a small party at my place. Why ? Simple - cos we are now all grown ups - with most of us either married with kids OR expecting a child....
Christmas was celebrated @ Eastin - where plain water was not being served as part of the buffet dinner package. Heck, this is ABSOLUTELY absurd and not logical....The staff actually told me that you can only have it if you order ala-cartes. The most non logical answer that I could ever get - mere stupidity ! Anyhow, after reasoning out with them, they at LAST served us with plain water. Damn it ! The day ended with us exchanging pressies at The Sticks - a new F&B outlet at QB. Very very serene celebration...hahahah...

Also, not forgetting my Penang Kia Christmas celebration. This yr, response was not good but we did it anyway at Chris's place. Photos are all with Chris (hehehe, did not get a copy) and only 6 of us went for the gathering. Jo was not around. Took Matt there and he played with CP's kid, Nathan. It was also a very quiet and casual celebration and again, we talked nonsense till the nite ended. Went back at about 10 plus with Jessica.
6 days after that, we celebrated New Year 2010 at my pad. We did potluck and each of us either cook or bought our 'makanans' to celebrate the New Year - a new decade. There were lots of things to eat, was so full that I could hardly walk. There were sandwiches, satay, Derric's Dominos pizza (which he bought at 4pm when the party starts at 7pm) to 'makan'. Again, talk nonsense while we waited for the clock to struck midnite. We did not go out, so we took advantage of my apartment's view to view the fireworks coupled with the live telecast from 8TV. Sounds a bit boring but all of us love it....the idea is to do NOTHING !

Celebrations aside, with New Year comes new resolutions. So, what would I be expecting for 2010 ? Hubby kept on insisting that I should have one...heheh..a SMART one in fact...specific to the point.
1. Travel to at least 3-5 countries- which I nearly got into an argument with my hubby.
2. Look leaner, stronger and to get rid of my fatty tissues - with the help of a dietician - cannot simply go on crash diets okay ....
3. To be a more loving mother and wife to both my kid and husband
4. To cook more often so that my things don't get expired easily
5. To love my parents more and more each year and to pamper them with the best :):)
6. To contribute to the community due to a recent mind-boggling experience - er, perhaps to become a part of Befriender -
7. To do more charity - hahahah...cos life aint just about ME. Guess what - life is not fair - so, definitely, the poor, the sick and the disabled need us !
Hahahaha....a little bit about my resolution - and now it is just a matter of execution !!
