Again, it has been a month since I have updated my blog. Kept postponing off my entries day after day....not knowing that someday, I still need to update it. Basically, my blame would be on household chores again as these will practically never end ! The more you wear, the more you need to wash and the more you need to iron. Also, the whole place is in a mess with my little rascal with me 24 x 7.
Thanks to Andrea for reminding me that I still have a blog and it is high time for me to update it. Well, I was actually waiting for more photos that has been taken during this CNY so you know - 'skali' can upload all. But, the photos are now everywhere and I have to crack my head to find out the owner of the respective photos.
Okay, enuff crap...back to the story - oh dear, I am sounding like an aunty liau. Well, this is Matt's 2nd CNY celebration. This time, he is smarter cos he has grown. He loves money -hahahaha..no doubt about it (some resemblance to his dear mother) so, getting ang pows are a bonus to him. We did try to teach him a few tricks like 'Gong Xi Gong Xi' but to no avail. He just kept quiet & stared at his aunties during the ang pow giving session..aiyo...waste effort ONLY !
We started CNY eve with dinner at MIL's place. It was rather quiet as they have a small family. Adrian is still not married and Matt was the only kid there. Makan and then we later adjourned to my parent's place to get some prayer items. Clock struck midnite and we welcome the new year with some prayers for good luck and happiness for the yr.
1st day of CNY - woke up at 8 plus and dressed Matt up with bright new outfit...Chinese ma...everything must be new....so follow 'tradition'. All must be new and bright for good luck. BLACK - a BIG NO NO ! On the other hand, hubby only had half half ...one new top and pants old. Don't care. Started to visit in laws ~ again tradition states- MUST visit the boy side first - once the ladies are married - that's it - old ppl will say - Kahwin liau to si lang eh liau'. Gosh...where can ? But again, follow lor...what to do since we are born to be a 'char bor'

Hubby's relative is quite limited too, so we only visited about 2 houses altogether. One was Alex's grandaunty and the other a cousin to my father in law. Blur Matt tag along too. Sean did most of the talking and we just listened. After that, went back for lunch at in laws place.

The weather was so hot, so did not manage to take lots of photos. Slept thru the afternoon as it was so humid. Day ended with us eating dinner at my parent's place and came back at home @ 9pm. Watched some good CNY movies & slept. Hubby sneaked out for some gambling session at Thean Leng's place thereafter.
The next thing you know - I went back to work the next day ! Damn sien...but the good thing is you get paid OT. Hahahaha...hopefully, by next yr, I will get more days off.
