Mum celebrated her 64th birthday recently about 2 weeks ago. Again, having a tough time choosing the place to eat. This time, we decided not to go for something fancy, so we just makan at a nearby seafood restaurant called 'Good Friend' or ' Hai Yor'. The place is not so cosy compared to Hai Boey but of course, cheap and good. We arrived late cos I wasn't feeling that well that day. Had migraine and my head was spinning non stop...damn ! That was such a horrible feeling :(
Anyway, had dinner and we then proceeded back to my place to savour's mum fav cake - cheese cake ! Mum had always love Jenny's as it was tasty and just simple. It has always been a yearly affair for us to have a piece during birthdays. Er..does not fancy cupcakes or tiramisu..heheheh.
All her grandchildren gathered around her to wish and sing her a birthday song. No doubt it wasn't a big affair but I guess with us spending the time is all that she had wanted. Of course, presents is always a must - she got a Lancome 'Magnifique' perfume from me and a Piere Cardin purse from sis in law - Lee Lein ...and up till now, she is still not willing to use it...hahahaha..still showcasing it at home ! Sigh....she said ' aiyor, all still can use...no need to use yet la. Can keep first.'
