Matt is beside me now.
Another backdated post for him. As per previous entries, I was afraid that he will start to walk slow. Friends and relatives told me that babies will start walking when they are one, so there I was worried on when my kid will walk. It was a slow process for Matt with him crawling and slowly standing up.
Dad helped to guide him too and it was one step at a time with guidance till he walks. One day, he surprised us and he started to balance and 'ta-da', he starts to walk and walk and walk with free hand ! He was laughing while he strikes a balance with his two little feet. Quite a lovely scene to see. Alas, all went well and he started the walking milestone at 14 months. He ! He ! slow by a month. What about talking ? Hahahaha...while my neighbour's grand daughter is already pointing to trees, TV & cars when she was asked, our dear friend is still struggling with words & strikes a ' What are you talking about' face when we teach him !! Ppl say don't compare but heck, give him some time cause girls mature faster than boys...wait till he catches up ....she better watch out !!
But, looking at the bright side, at least he can manage a few bb talk for me like ' car, pool but still no 'daddy and mummy'. I think tongue cannot twist OR, if he does not want something, he will shake his head real hard, stating NO for an answer.. Hahahah, anyway a few videos on his progress - enjoy !!
