Eason's Birthday Party

Journal Entry 65

Matt went for his 2nd birthday party last month. It was Eason's birthday, son to both Leng and Liz - a close fren of ours - from the Bayan Baru gang. It was his 3rd birthday and Liz decided to have a birthday party for him at OXO, a fusion style cafe next to QB.

Off we went and in fact, we were pretty early. Matt as usual was excited but as there were to many ppl, he got petrified and started crying when we reached the place. He would not let the uncles and aunties hold...it took about half an hr for him to cool himself down...*phew*....Hubby was the busiest that nite as Matt was clingy for him and was crying his heart out !! So 'paiseh'..

Anyway, as the night draws nearer, more and more kiddos came and BB Matt started playing with the 'koko's' and the 'che-che's'. He was pretty excited and to stop him from crying, we decided to stuff him..hehhee..with BREAD - his fav. Started playing with the kids and daddy starting snapping too..

Just Matt

It is amazing to see that our kids are now playing and it was just like yesterday when a group of us went for outings and holidays. Now, we have little kids tagging along...Just like a camera, a click for that moment & the next thing ~ married with kids !! Yen ~ Boon Hee's wife made cupcakes for Eason & I must say that she is one hell of a creative, wonderful and most loving WOMAN I have ever met. She runs a cake sundry shop @ Bayan Baru Market and her cookies are wonderful too !!

Anyways, cake cutting and all of us gathered around looking stunned with the wonderful cake that Yen had made. Had some of it & pressie time. As we know that Eason loves car, almost all of us gave one to him..different types and of different variations. He indeed was one happy kiddo for the night !
