The One where Matt was admitted to HOPE ~

Journal Entry 72

Matt was admitted on Saturday ~ 13th of Mac.

STATUS 15|3 -still fluctuating but at a stabilised stage. Hehehehe...A blog entry from the hospital...sob sob...

DIAGNOSIS ~ pneumonia..the dreaded word ! I have heard of that virus before but it never came across to me that my son will get it ! Was CONFUSED, SAD & WORRIED when the doctor said 'teng-kam' -another word in hokkien-la.. My hubby got it when he was form 1, now the son got it- could it be a sign of hereditary ??

Hmm, still trying to find out the root cause of him getting the 'stubborn' virus - and I think this might have been contributed by the bad weather, with him sweating and air con on full blast...hahaha..no one to blame but the weather..hahah..actually both parents also the culprit and not forgetting Matt as well...running around naked after bathing....

He is now on antibiotics - on IV (injection x2 a day) and of course the dreaded nebulizer which he has to inhale 3 times a day. Poor little boy. Doc just came over for a check a few minutes ago and the result of the conversation was :-

I told him - 'no fever liau' ....
Doc replied....'no my dear -Definition of no FEVER - is no paracetamol and no spike in fever for 24 hrs'....This is the 1st time I kept an eye on the clock every hr, minute and second....cos time is essential here.

Gosh, another nite of monitoring for my poor little boy !Hahha...more Barney and Tom and Jerry show entertaining us 24 x 7.....

Plan After recovery | of top priority - would be to get him vaccinated on all the require vaccination !
