Matt is officially 3 yrs & 1 month now.
He has been with his kindy for 7 months to date and indeed, he is progressing well in terms of his vocab & pronunciation - just that he is still a very shy boy when it comes to strangers.
He can now speak in sentences and will imitate the adults in terms of their speech and movements. Motor and vocal skills - good improvement but emotionally- still a bit shaky and loves crying and shouting :(.. So, this is when I will deploy my 'stand at the corner' tactic which suprisingly works at home but not at grandma's place :(.
At the age of 3, he loves reading at night & will always request a story before bedtime. Getting him to be a library member to instil more reading habits. Another 'kiasu mother' :). Sigh, as I am writing this post- I just realised that we have not taken photos of him lately compared to last year. Felt so bad. Well, I guess a mini family holiday would do some justice for him and also for me too !! Dad's treat - Yippie !!
