X'mas 2012 with Family & Friends

X'mas for us this year was the same with us celebrating with close friends and family members.

My 2nd bro has gotten a new place way back mid last year as such, we hosted dinner for our extended families. Extended the invites to aunts & uncles around & we came up with a mini pot luck for all ! Sis in law & myself decided to take over the kitchen this year but no, mum still can't resist to cook a thing or two for the event. Well, I guess she loves cooking and nothing is going to stop her on that :)

Started preparing dinner at lunch time and by dinner, we managed to put together a decent spread of western and oriental dishes. Mum cooked curry chicken, fried noodles while I made spaghetti, mushroom soup, potato salad and sandwiches. For the sandwiches, I managed to get the kids involved and guess what, the girls can't help eating while helping !! Sis in law prepared roast chicken and this time, she made about 20 drumsticks- hahahah :):):). My aunt made 'malaiko' for dessert.

We were so full after dinner. Bought along some Santa hats and took loads of silly pictures of the little kids. 

It was mesmerizing and so lovely to watch the little kids with their stunts. With that, we ended round 1 of our X'mas party & round 2 was with our close friends.

This year, we had the honor of having our X'mas dinner at Regene & Tze's new apartment. It was definitely a cozy, windy place to be at. Had steamboat this round as we just wanted a simple get together. Had a color theme of red, white and green this yr and as always, wonderful moments must always be captured. 

All in all, we really had a wonderful Xmas get together surrounded by family and loved ones.

Anyway, I know that this is way long overdue, but I just got to say this - Merry X'mas 2012 and wishing you all the best !!
