Journal Entry 165
It has been a while since I have short trips with Jess. Well, Jo did went on a beach holiday with me mid last year (and it was a good one !), so we thought - hmm, maybe a short trip over the weekend would be fun for us.
Sounds like a plan :). We were pretty ad-hoc with the Cameron trip and I think we made up our mind within a week's time. Arranged for both accommodation & transportation and off we went a week's back. Dragged hubby along (as we need a driver :( ) and of course, Matt tag along too as he is now big enough to join us for short trips. Also, it is best to expose him to nature now before he grows accustomed to his tablet.

| On our way to Cameron |
We started early in the morning so that we can reach Ipoh for Dim Sum. Wanted to try Foh San but the crowd was massive. In the end, we settled for the shop opposite. Done with brunch, we continued our journey to Cameron using the Simpang Pulai highway and up we went. The whole turning left and right took about an hr and finally, we reached our hotel Strawberry Park (Fresno Suite - a 2 bedroom suite at RM 570 per night) at about 1.30 pm. Rest & washed up before we went off for our afternoon half day tour from the hotel - (Adults : RM45 ; Child (4 and above) - RM25.

Went to the Boh plantation, Honeybee farm, Rose Garden, Strawberry Farm, Kea Market & Butterfly farm. Bought a few things here and there before we went back to the hotel. Again, rest and bathe and by 8pm, we hailed a taxi to take us to Brinchang for the night market (RM20 per person). We decided to go with taxi as the whole place was just too packed.
Had steamboat for dinner before we went for shopping :)

It was indeed an enjoyable makan-makan' trip with both Jo and Jess. Believed it or not - we were munching on sweet potatoes & corns for two consecutive days....definitely, a wonderful way to enjoy the weekends !
Of course not forgetting, I got lovely fleurs for myself too ! Always make me a happier person :)
