Day 2 of Road Trip down south.
Started our journey down hill at about 11am so that we can catch up with lunch around noon time. Hated the the winding road down to KL - so sweets are always handy for me when I travel this way. We also took the chance to stop by at IKEA as we need to get some tables for Ah Boi.Good time for some window shopping and if time permits,we can savour the curry puffs and Swedish meatballs
We reached The Curve around noon and headed on to a nearby restaurant for dim sum. The name of the place is called Mutiara Palace and I must say that the food is pretty tasty - a bit pricey but the food quality is there. Done with lunch (was too busy eating and did not manage to capture any photos) and we proceed to IKEA before we check in to our hotel.
Happy with our loot for the day , we then drove to Mid Valley to check in to our hotel. This time, I have decided to book The Gardens Hotel for my two boys as it is also connected to the Gardens Mall. Easier access to shopping and rest in between - some comfort for the three of us. The hotel interior is really nice and I kinda like the ambiance in the room.

After dinner, we went window shopping for a while - had lots of desserts and just walloped every fast food that is not available in Penang. Did not buy any apparels or shoes - rather we spent our time eating and eating :):). Called it a nite with Popeye,Gong Cha, Ninja Joe and Snowflake !!
Checked out the very next day at 12pm and proceed back to Penang - travelling up north - Happy & Satisfied :)
