As BB Matt approaches five next yr, the hubby had since been teaching Matt to be self dependent.
We are now training Matt in phases - with the hope that he is able to master the required skills when he starts schooling. It was hard initially but with hubby's guidance, all seems to be easy now. Matt is still emotional at times when he can 't get things done his way but I guess constant pep talks would do the trick.
From bathing till preparing himself to sleep, it has now become a routine for him and he would normally call out to us if he can't perform the task. Glad that Matt is more independent now & hopefully, he will be on auto pilot mode in no time.
Like how he says it - Matthew is a big boy already ! Mommy, please don't be angry ok if i do wrong :):)
Aw, how can I be when he is such a sweetie !!
Matt had passed the most dreaded task ~ to button his PJs before sleeping. But, he did it !
Patience is virtue, my dear boy..... Keep it up BB Matt !
