Journal Entry 227
Day 2 in Sg were mainly spent on Universal Studio. Only spent one night at Siloso :(. Had breakfast and packed our bags for our hotel on the 2nd day. Reached Movenpick Heritage Hotel & it was definitely a gorgeous, classic hotel. Comparatively, it feels the same like E&O Penang but with a different colonial twist. Unique, with simple modern decor coupled with friendly staff makes our stay even happier. Also, there is a Nepresso coffee machine in every room - a perfect match for coffee lovers like me !
Oh yes, they have a beautiful front view against the Merlion & the night view was just amazing.
Anyhow, let's move on. It was drizzling that day & the hotel was kind enough to provide us with an umbrella - just in case if it pours ! It was a walking distance to Universal Studio but we decided to take the monorail instead (lazy bums). Got in to the studio around 10 and 1st stop - Shrek station.

Frankly speaking, this is the 3rd time I have been on the Shrek 4-D adventure & kinda numb though :). But for the sake of Matt, I have to endure & make the best out of it. As it was a weekday, the queue wasn't that long and we got in within 10 mins. Done with that, we moved on to the Transformers. I loved it ! First time trying out this exciting ride. Since we didn't want to queue, we took a photo with one of the staff (for promotional reasons) to get the express pass. So much win !!

Matt & daddy continued with the rest of the rides there as I have weak heart when it comes to height & speed :). I jaga bag :). In btw the rides, we stopped by the souvenir shop to get some gifts back home. Met up with The Minions & of course, had a photo shoot with Cookie Monster & Master Po from KungFu Panda !!

We called it a day around 4pm & went back to wash up. Matt did a good job as he managed to sit on most of the rides in the studio and definitely worth the visit ! Went back to the hotel for a nap before we came out for dinner and stroll around the park. Wanted to take a swim but tak larat d.

We got out for dinner around 7 plus, took some photos and went for a stroll near the park and studio. Had dinner around the place - wanted to go to Vivo but we decided to have a walk around the hotel area.

Ended the day around 10.00 and went back to sleep. Stay tuned for our 3rd day to Singapore City.
